David Fotouhi
David Fotouhi currently serves as Acting General Counsel of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Mr. Fotouhi joined EPA in March 2017 and assumed the role of Principal Deputy General Counsel in October 2018. Prior to joining the Agency, Mr. Fotouhi practiced environmental law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in Washington, D.C. Before entering private practice, Mr. Fotouhi served as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond W. Gruender of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Mr. Fotouhi is originally from Oklahoma and holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
