About the National Program Director for EPA's Safe and Sustainable Water Resources Research Program

Suzanne van Drunick

Dr. Suzanne van Drunick is the National Program Director for EPA’s Safe and Sustainable Water Resources research program. Prior to coming to EPA, Suzanne was the Associate Director for Science at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder. Suzanne is an environmental toxicologist with human health, ecosystem, and science policy experience. Prior to moving to Colorado, Suzanne was the Senior Program Officer for the Board of Environmental Studies and Toxicology of the National Academy of Sciences. Suzanne earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Animal Biology from Colorado State University, a Master of Science degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, and a Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Pathology.
