Anne (Idsal) Austin

Anne Austin is the Principal Deputy Assistant Administrator for the Office of Air and Radiation (OAR).  She also served as EPA’s Region 6 Administrator.  Prior to joining EPA, Anne spent her career working for Texas state government and helped shape environmental policy for the state.

Anne’s state experience includes service as the general counsel for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. She also served as the first female Chief Clerk and Deputy Land Commissioner for the Texas General Land Office.
