Acute Exposure Guideline Levels (AEGLs) Committee Meeting September 17-19, 1996

The third meeting of the National Advisory Committee for Acute Exposure Guideline Levels for Hazardous Substances (NAC/AEGL) was held on September 17-19, 1996, in Washington, DC. At this meeting, the committee addressed various aspects of the acute toxicology and development of Acute Exposure Guideline Levels (AEGLs) for the following chemicals: ammonia, methyl mercaptan, hydrogen fluoride, cyanogen chloride, hydrogen cyanide, 1,2-dichloroethylene, arsine, dimethyldichlorosilane, and nitric acid.
