Guidance on Procedures Used To Develop Acute Exposure Guideline Levels (AEGLs)

In 2001, the National Academies published guidance to develop AEGLs. These "standing operating procedures" were intended to make development of the guidelines systematic, consistent, documented and transparent to the public.

Physiologically-based Pharmacokinetic Modeling White Paper 

Another key document in the creation of AEGLs is the Physiologically-Based Pharmacokinetic Modeling White Paper, which describes the methods for integrating physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling in the development of AEGLs.
