An anaerobic digestion ombudsman is a third-party individual that helps livestock facilities develop and maintain anaerobic digester projects. In New York and Vermont, anaerobic digestion ombudsman programs have improved project outcomes and expanded the industry. In these two states, over 40 anaerobic digestion projects received assistance.
