Assessing and Managing Chemicals under TSCA

2-Ethylhexanol; Final Test Rule

EPA is issuing a final test rule, under section 4 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), requiring manufacturers and processors of 2-ethylhexanol (EH: CAS No. 104-76-7)  to conduct a 2-year oncogenicity bioassay. This action follows EPA’s proposed rule of
December 19, 1986 (51 FR 45487).
