Air Quality Tools

  • AirData - Provides air pollution data from ambient monitoring and the National Emission Inventory.
  • National Emissions Inventory - EPA estimates of wood-burning emissions at the county level.
  • Emission Calculator (Excel file)(7 pp, 143 K) Use this calculator to estimate emissions reductions from wood stove and fireplace changeouts. May not be used for State Implementation Plans (SIPs) and Conformity. Consult your EPA Regional Office or SIP and Conformity guidance documents.
  • Control Efficiency and Cost Effectiveness Table(2 pp, 21 K, February 2015) Use the table to estimate control efficiency and cost effectiveness of various residential wood smoke control measures.
