This page contains the draft operating permit, Statement of Basis, public notice, supporting documentation, and substantive public comments received on the draft permit for the Deseret Power Electric Cooperative Bonanza Power Plant, located within the exterior boundaries of the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation in Uintah County, Utah. The public comment period for this draft permit ended at 5:00 PM MST on June 16, 2014. A public hearing was held on June 3, 2014 at the Ute Tribal Auditorium in Fort Duchesne, Utah (see public notice for more information). In addition to the comments posted below, we received more than 2,000 comments from individuals and other entities. We have included below an example of a form email for which we received over 1,800 identical emails.
