Title V Petitions in Region 1

A "title V petition" is a legal document submitted to the EPA pursuant to Section 505(b)(2) of the Clean Air Act and 40 C.F.R. § 70.8(d). Title V allows the public to petition the EPA Administrator to object to specific permits or operating permit program deficiencies when it has provided timely comment to the permitting authority during the public review period. Below are petitions, responses and other documents received during the Title V Operating Permit Program petition process for Region 1 facilities.
