Final Ports Initiative Workgroup Report: Recommendations for the U.S. EPA

Approved for submittal to EPA by the Clean Air Act Advisory Committee on September 7, 2016.

The CAAAC submitted to the EPA a report from the Ports Initiative Workgroup of the Mobile Sources Technical Review Subcommittee (MSTRS) containing recommendations on (1) how to effectively measure air quality and GHG performance of ports and/or terminals within ports, and (2) design elements for an EPA-led voluntary program to improve environmental performance as goods and passengers move through ports. The full CAAAC approved this report's submittal during its meeting on September 7, 2016. A cover note from the MSTRS and individual CAAAC member comments are included in an addendum to the report.
