Hispanic Advisory Council

The Hispanic Advisory Council (HAC) sponsors, coordinates, and supports the advancement of Hispanic endeavors within the Agency by promoting understanding of Hispanic culture and heritage, as well as supporting the education, career development, training, and advancement of Hispanics within the Agency. HAC leadership has been representing its members at the National EPA Honor Awards Board for two decades, ensuring that outstanding Hispanics are recognized through Gold, Silver and Name Awards. HAC is currently in the process of reactivating its membership. As such, there are many leadership opportunities available. To get involved, please contact its Chair Maricruz MaGowan at magowan.maricruz@epa.gov.
