This fact sheet provides information on the reporting exemption applicable to non-isolated intermediate chemical substances for purposes of the Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) rule (40 CFR 711).
The version dated 2020 contains additional explanations that are helpful for reporters under the CDR rule, added in response to comments received as part of the CDR Revisions rulemaking. The version dated 2016, used during the 2016 CDR reporting period, is retained for historical purposes.
