The Stochastic Human Exposure and Dose Simulation Model for Multimedia, Multipathway Chemicals: Dietary Module Version 1: User Guide, June 2012

SHEDS-Dietary is a stochastic dietary exposure model that can be used to estimate population estimates of dietary exposure, based on food consumption data from either the United States Department of Agriculture’s Continuing Surveys of Food Intake by Individuals (CSFII) for the years 1994-1996 and 1998 or the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) What We Eat In America (WWEIA) study. Exposure is determined from food consumption through the stochastic assignment of chemical residues to food commodities.
