CHP Utility Rates – Role of Standby Rates (Webinar) - May 31, 2018

This webinar covers utility standby rates and their role in CHP project development. It provides an overview of two CHP standby rates studies – EPA’s Standby Rates for Consumer Sited Resources report, and Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP)’s Standby Rates for Combined Heat and Power Systems (PDF) (44 pp, 759K) Exit. The webinar also describes a new “Apples to Apples” standby rate analytic approach Exit, which allows for comparisons of standby rates across utilities for a “standard” CHP project and shares findings and lessons learned from this new analysis.
