Public Hearing on the Texas Coal Combustion Residuals Permit Program
EPA proposed to approve the application submitted by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to allow the Texas Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) state permit program to operate in lieu of the Federal CCR program. EPA will hold a virtual public hearing on the proposed program approval. The virtual public hearing will provide interested persons the opportunity to present information, comments or views concerning EPA's proposal.
General Information
EPA will be holding a virtual public hearing about this proposal on February 2, 2021. The hearing will convene at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and conclude at 6:00 p.m. ET. If necessary, the hearing may go later to accommodate all those wishing to speak.
Oral testimony will be limited to five (5) minutes for each person. EPA may ask clarifying questions during the oral presentations, but will not respond formally during the hearing to any comments or information presented at the hearing. A verbatim transcript of the hearing will be included in the docket for this action.
EPA will be accepting written public comments through Regulations.gov until the close of the comment period on this action.
