Virtual Public Hearing on the Proposal: Federal CCR Permit Program

EPA is proposing a streamlined, efficient, federal permitting program for the disposal of coal combustion residuals (CCR) in surface impoundments and landfills. In addition to accepting written comments, EPA held a virtual or online public hearing. The virtual public hearing provided interested persons the opportunity to present information, comments or views concerning EPA's proposal.

General Information

EPA held a virtual public hearing about this proposal on April 15, 2020. The hearing convened at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and concluded at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Oral testimony was limited to five (5) minutes for each person. A verbatim transcript of the hearing will be included in the docket for this action. EPA accepted written public comments through Regulations.gov.
