This memorandum, signed by EPA Deputy Administrator Bob Perciasepe on September 30, 2013, and the accompanying policy statement establishes a new Agency-wide policy on e-reporting.  It specifies that EPA will start new regulations with the assumption that reporting will be electronic and not paper-based.  This policy is an important step in EPA’s larger E-Enterprise for the Environment Initiative and in EPA’s commitment to institute electronic submissions to meet regulatory reporting requirements.
