- Overseeing state Operator Certification programs,
- Ensuring that state Operator Certification programs meet the federally defined nine baseline standards, and
- Reviewing Operator Certification program reports annually to ensure they meet the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) initiatives.
The handbook also includes resources to help Regional coordinators provide support to state Operator Certification programs, to help them improve their programs, develop a robust water operator workforce, and support small systems. You may need a PDF reader to view some of the files on this page.
