Management and Operations of E-Enterprise Governance

E-Enterprise and Exchange Network Management Board (MB) and the Interoperability and Operations Team (IOT) focuses on the day-to-day tasks and implementation of individual projects, including the ongoing operation of the Exchange Network. This organizational structure ensures that the co-regulators are fully engaged in and committed to this work at both the political and career levels, and that a solid governance foundation exists to support this transformative cultural change into the future. Collectively, the MB and the IOT identify issues to elevate to the E-Enterprise Executive Committee and EELC

The Management Board and IOT, have co-chairs to provide direction and are supported by staff from EPA, states, and tribes.

Management Board

The Management Board provides oversight and manages the combined E-Enterprise and Exchange Network portfolio. The Management Board has a wide-array of duties, including, implementing policy decision made by the EELC, identifying issues and agenda items for the Executive Committee and EELC, and identify E-Enterprise project recommendations and priorities, including managing staff resources to efficiently and effectively support project teams.

Interoperability and Operations Team

The Interoperability and Operations Team establishes a shared governance model to support and guide design, interoperability, and operation of all technical aspects of E-Enterprise and Exchange Network. This includes shared services, standards, architecture, and infrastructure.  The IOT provides support to projects as they develop or implement shared services and infrastructure and ensures the interoperability of E-Enterprise projects.
