Introduction

Part 60 New Source Performance Standards (NSPS), Part 62 and Part 63 National Emission Standards for Hazardous Pollutants (NESHAP) regulations require electronic reporting.   The Compliance and Emissions Data Reporting Interface (CEDRI) supports the electronic submission of various reports including performance test reports, notification reports and periodic reports.  The Electronic Reporting Tool (ERT) is used to electronically create stationary source sampling test plans and complete electronic reports for submittal to the regulatory agency. 

Affected industrial facilities are required to submit emissions test results electronically.  This can be accomplished by using the ERT or, depending on the regulation, an electronic file consistent with the ERT full xml schema.   Facilities should review the applicable regulations to determine the exact requirements for their source.  The facilities will submit these files to the Central Data Exchange (CDX) using CEDRI. The submission files are stored in the CDX Cross-Media Electronic Reporting Rule (CROMERR) archive and become available to submitters and authorized reviewers immediately upon submission.  In general after 60 days, the ERT files will be available to the public in WebFIRE.  Generally, the periodic reports are available in WebFIRE 30 days after submittal to CEDRI.
