Fact Sheet: Proposed Changes to the National Contingency Plan - Revisions to Align with the National Response Framework

This fact sheet summarizes a proposed rule to bring the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP) into alignment with the National Response Framework (NRF) and the National Incident Management System (NIMS).  These proposed changes explain how the NCP fits into the nation’s disaster and emergency management system.
