Tips for Hurricane Preparedness

Natural disasters such as hurricanes can negatively impact our health, safety, and the environment. This fact sheet provides various ways the public can protect themselves and the environment before a storm lands. Atlantic hurricane season begins on June 1 and ends on November 30 every year. Pacific hurricane season is from May 15 to November 30.
