EPA Headquarters Environmental Policy

Approximately 7,500 EPA Headquarters (EPA HQ) employees work at several sites in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Each employee makes daily decisions that collectively can have tremendous impacts on our environment. To reduce and properly manage these impacts, EPA HQ uses a blueprint for evaluating environmental performance called an Environmental Management System (EMS).

For more information about the EMS at the EPA HQ facilities, please use the Contact Us link or send a direct message to Pamela McCutcheon or Oralus Paul.
