Materials for April 2019 Bulletins Live! Two Webinar

On April 10, 2019, EPA offered "Understanding Bulletins Live! Two," a webinar intended for state and tribal pesticide regulatory agencies. The webinar provided an overview of the Bulletins Live application, which is used to map Pesticide Use Limitation Areas (PULAs) for the protection of threatened and endangered (i.e., listed) species and their designated critical habitat.

The presentation covered web mapping of endangered species, how PULAs are created, the significance of a PULA versus a Bulletin, a demo of the Bulletins Live application, and frequently asked questions. This webinar was a repeat of an earlier webinar held on Feb. 27, 2019.

Presenter Steven Lennartz is a mapping scientist in EPA’s Environmental Fate and Effects Division.
