Endocrine Disruptor Screening Program for the 21st Century (EDSP21) Workplan Summary

The purpose of this overview is to present the rationale for and a framework of a proposed Endocrine Disruptor Screening Program for the 21st Century (EDSP21) Work Plan. This overview describes:

  • why this work plan was developed;
  • what the agency is obligated to do;
  • how the work plan will be implemented; and
  • a proposed time line for completion.

As part of the rationale, this overview presents the universe of chemicals that will be considered in the EDSP and a general description of the process for prioritizing pesticide and non-pesticide chemicals for EDSP screening.
