Consent Decree: Montrose Superfund Site (Region 9)

Partial consent decree associated with the Montrose and Del Amo Superfund sites in Torrance, Calif. (EPA Region 9). The four parties to the settlement will construct a groundwater treatment system, which will remove monochlorobenzene and benzene. In addition to constructing the treatment system, these parties will also pay oversight costs incurred by EPA and the California Department of Toxic Substances Control.
