K.P. Kauffman Company (KPK) Consent Decree

On January 21, 2020, the Department of Justice, EPA and the State of Colorado announced a settlement with K.P. Kauffman Company (KPK) for alleged violations of the  Clean Air Act relating to KPK’s operations in an area of Colorado designated as serious nonattainment for the 8-hour ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS).
