Settlement Agreement: Resolving U.S. Proofs of Claim Regarding Certain Environmental Matters with W.R. Grace

Pursuant to the settlement, W.R. Grace and the United States have agreed that EPA shall have a $34,065,813 bankruptcy claim. This claim will provide recovery to EPA with respect to 32 sites that W.R. Grace does not own. The settlement agreement was filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on December 20, 2007 and the order authorizing the settlement agreement was signed in June 2008.
