Purpose/Objective:

EPA’s Selected Analytical Methods for Environmental Remediation and Recovery (SAM) lists this method for qualitative and confirmatory analysis or gross gamma determination of indium-111, iodine-131, molybdenum-99, rhenium-188, rubudium-82, select mixed fission products, and technetium-99m in aqueous/liquid, soil/sediment, surface wipes, air filters and vegetation; and containing, and of americium-241, cesium-137, cobalt-60, europium-154, iridium-192, neptunium-239, ruthenium-103 and -106, and selenium-75 in soil/sediment, surface wipes, air filters and vegetation.
