EPA’s Selected Analytical Methods for Environmental Remediation and Recovery (SAM) lists this method for reference if problems occur when using EPA Method 245.1 during preparation and analysis of aqueous liquid samples for mercury, mercuric chloride (analyzed as total mercury), or methoxyethylmercuric acetate (analyzed as total mercury).
