EPA’s Selected Analytical Methods for Environmental Remediation and Recovery (SAM) lists this method for preparation and analysis of drinking water and post decontamination waste water samples for non-typhoidal Salmonella [Salmonellosis], and for culture-based analysis of non-typhoidal Salmonella in prepared aerosol, particulate and soil samples.
