Purpose/Objective:
The purpose of this document is to identify and briefly describe the specific methodologies that EPA and its contracted laboratories will employ when called upon to analyze environmental samples in times of national emergency. The document also is intended as a tool that will be available to assist state and local laboratories in responding to homeland security events.
