Application Forms for Forestry and Silvicultural Burning Tribal Permits Under the FARR

Use the permit forms below for forestry and silvicultural burning on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation or the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation under EPA's Federal Air Rules for Reservations (FARR).

A forestry burn is the burning of vegetative debris from a forestry or silvicultural activity that is necessary for disease or pest control, reduction of fire hazard, reforestation or ecosystem management.

Agricultural, small and large open burns require a different permit. Firefighter trainings require a large open burn permit. For more information, visit Tribal Burn Permit Programs on the Nez Perce and Umatilla Indian Reservations.
