Approved Quality Assurance Plans and Q-RIN Pathways under the Renewable Fuel Standard
Types of Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs)
There are two types of Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs):
- General; and
- Fuel pathway-specific.
A QAP provider must have an EPA-approved general QAP in order to register fuel pathway-specific QAPs.

The table below lists the QAPs and Q-RIN Pathways that have been approved by EPA under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS).
