Fuels Registration, Reporting, and Compliance Help

Are engineering drawings and process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) required to be submitted as part of the engineering report?

Engineering drawings or P&IDs are not required to be submitted in the engineering report, but EPA suggests the third party engineer provide a simple diagram to help supplement the description of the process train for each renewable fuel pathway at the production facility.

The diagram can be presented in simple block and arrows format, which may include for each step along the process train, feedstock input, process unit, process fuel heat input, co-products produced, etc.
