Gasoline Sulfur Compliance Report

This report provides information on how refiners and importers have complied with gasoline sulfur standards from the years 2011-2019. The report provides information on overall compliance with the fuel standards, and provides insights into the use of regulatory flexibilities provided to the industry. This includes how refiners and importers used “early” credits for compliance with the 10 parts per million average sulfur standard, and how small volume refiners and small refiners utilized an option to delay compliance with the 10 parts per million standard for three years.

EPA published a report that analyzes petroleum industry compliance with the national Tier 2 gasoline sulfur program during 2011-2016.
