Letter to Silverton and San Juan County Regarding Potential Superfund Listing

On February 12, 2016, EPA sent a letter to officials from Silverton and San Juan County, Colorado, addressing the local governments’ interest in substantive engagement during potential Superfund site investigation and cleanup activities. The letter outlines EPA’s commitments to early and meaningful community participation throughout the entire Superfund process.
