Section 1605 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (codified at 2 Code of federal regulations [CFR] 176.140 and 176.160) presents specific provisions for the acquisition of iron, steel, and/or manufactured goods used for construction, alternation, maintenance, or repair of a public building or public work.
