The Cuyahoga River Remedial Action Plan Coordinating Committee (CCC) prepared the RAP with help from the Cuyahoga River Community Planning Organization. The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency provided planning support for the RAP.
RAP staff conducts technical work; so do work groups associated with specific issues or grant projects.
The RAP Stage I report (1992) identified BUIs and their causes; it was updated in 1996.
Several of the impairments have shown improvement, especially degradations of fish and wildlife populations. The establishment of bald eagles in the AOC in 2006 was a major accomplishment in the remedial action process.
