Sustainable Features

  • The Region 2 Headquarters in New York is the first EPA regional office to be completely powered by wind-generated electricity.
  • The Foley Square Federal Office Building, where Region 2 is located, earned the ENERGY STAR® in 1999 with a score of 79, in 2006 with a score of 75, in 2010 with a score of 75 and again in 2012 with a score of 77.
