GPP Webinar: Innovative Financing Options and the University Solar Deployment Process

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Green Power Partnership (GPP) hosted a webinar that explored unique and innovative ways in which higher education institutions can finance their solar deployment.

In this webinar, experts from the EPA, the University of Utah and the University of South Florida discussed different financing options such as student fees, green revolving funds, endowment funding, stakeholder donations, and unique alumni and community arrangements. Participants heard institutional perspectives and lessons learned, engaged in discussion, and gained an understanding of best practices related to the different financing options.
