EPA's Green Power Partnership (GPP)

On Wednesday, February 4, 2015, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. (EST), EPA's GPP hosted a webinar examining the deployment potential for on-site solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at K-12 schools.

The Solar Foundation presented findings from its recently released report, Brighter Future: A Study on Solar in U.S. Schools Exit. They provided insights into the extent that solar can be deployed and provided data on the adoption of solar by K-12 schools across the United States. In addition, a representative from Arlington County Public Schools (Virginia) shared their experience as a solar school, discussed their motivation for pursuing solar, and presented lessons learned. The webinar concluded with a question and answer session.
