Wednesday, June 27, 2018
3:00 PM-4:00 PM EDT

Setting clear renewable energy goals and defining priorities are important steps in developing solar projects. On Wednesday June 27, 2018, the U.S. EPA hosted a webinar for the Local Government Solar Project Portal on how to set a renewable energy goal and the key considerations and benefits of doing so. This webinar provided an overview of a new EPA guidance document for local governments on setting renewable energy goals and presented two case studies from the City of Ashland, OR and the City of Orlando, FL. These local governments shared their experiences with other municipalities who are also on a similar journey.
