Under the Safe Drinking Water Act, your drinking water supplier is required to send you information about the quality of your drinking water every year. States and territories also collect data about the performance of your drinking water supplier and share that information with EPA, which posts it to our website and maintains a telephone hotline to answer questions about drinking water.
