MOU between HUD and EPA Regarding the EPA Review of HUD Financial-Assisted Projects within Sole Source Aquifers

This memorandum of understanding (MOU) is intended to memorialize an understanding between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 4 (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Region 4 (HUD) concerning the review of proposed Federal financially-assisted projects located in whole or in part in the designated sole source aquifers ("SSAs") in the EPA Region 4 (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee), which include any recharge zone, streamflow source area, or artesian zone of such SSAs.
