Transparency - Hydraulic Fracturing Study
EPA has supported full transparency in several different ways, providing the public with information.
Several ways that EPA has conducted the study in a transparent fashion are:
- Consulting with the public and key stakeholder groups during the study development.
- Posting of study draft and final materials at every stage of the study development.
- Holding public information sessions during both the development and completion of the study.
- Posting all quality assurance project plans online, allowing replication and verification of EPA's research approach and methods. Read the quality assurance project plans.
