Documents Related to the Hazardous Waste Listing of Chlorinated Aliphatics Production Wastes

Two waste streams from chlorinated aliphatics production are listed as hazardous. The two waste streams are K174, wastewater treatment sludges from the production of ethylene dichloride or vinyl chloride monomer (EDC/VCM), and K175, wastewater treatment sludges from the production of vinyl chloride monomer using mercuric chloride catalyst in an acetylene-based process.
