Corrective Action Hazardous Waste Cleanups in Region 10

EPA’s Region 10 serves Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. The table below includes the 91 sites on Region 10's 2020 GPRA Corrective Action Baseline in addition to other sites where EPA engages in regulatory activities around hazardous waste clean-up.

How to use this table: EPA is the lead regulatory agency for implementing the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) in Alaska. The States of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington are authorized to implement RCRA in lieu of the federal regulations, though EPA may still be considered the lead regulatory agency for certain sites within those states (as indicated in the “Lead Agency” column). Click on the site names for more information (the “Exit” icon means you will be directed to a web page maintained by the state, not EPA). For sites where both EPA and the state are involved, you will see a second link under the site name which refers to "EPA activities" where you can get information on EPA's RCRA regulatory actions at the site (for example, work that EPA is not allowed to delegate to states).
