Facility Description
This facility is an electroforming and machine shop which first began operating in 1961. Historic waste management practices included the operation of two, unlined surface impoundments to dewater metal hydroxide sludge generated from facility operations.

This approximately 5 acre facility is located in a commercial area of Brookfield, CT. According to the US Geological Survey's National Hydrography Dataset, this facility is located in the Still River-Housatonic River watershed and the nearest fresh surface water body is located on or immediately adjacent to the property. Geology in this area has been observed to be dominated by marble and schist formations.
